Tata Motors Magnificent Bali Dealership Inaugurated

Tata Motors steps out of Java with its eighth dealership a testament to Tata Motors’bright prospect in Indonesia.

Denpasar, 11 October 2014 – PT Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia (TMDI), fully owned subsidiary of Tata Motors Limited and as Authorised Agent of Tata Motors in Indonesia announced today (11/10) the inauguration of its latest 3S (Sales, Service, Spareparts) dealer in Denpasar, Bali.

TMDI appointed PT Bali BimaSakti (BBS) to provide sales service, spareparts, and maintenance for Tata Motors customers in Bali. The 2,000 m2 two floor building sits on top of 3,000 m2 land and at a time can hold 8 units in its showroom. Located in Jalan Teuku Umar Barat No.150T, Bali Bima Sakti is the first 3S dealer in the island of the Gods.

“We (Tata Motors) have received a positive response, from our dealer partners, in Indonesia ever since we began sales in September 2013. We are proud to say that Bali is an integral area for us to develop our first phase dealership network, which covers Java and Bali. Today, we are delighted to introduce our Strong Products to the citizens of Bali,” said Biswadev Sengupta, President Director of PT Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia.

In an attempt to realise its commitment to provide a wider service coverage area, Tata Motors has targeted to open 20 new 3S dealers all across Indonesia by March 2015.

TMDI currently operates 7 3S dealers (2 in Jakarta, 2 in East Java, 2 in Central Java, 1 in Cikarang West Java), offering both Tata Motors passenger and commercial vehicles. After inaugurating the Tata Motors dealer in Bali, TMDI will shortly launch 3S dealerships in Pekanbaru and Serpong, Tangerang.

The Bali Bima Sakti 3S dealer is equipped with advanced equipment of which its 8 service bays can serve up to 30 vehicles per day. Within the dealer’s spacious and comfortable customer lounge is cable TV, AC, and WiFi.

Ivan Kristanto, managing director of PT Bali Bima Sakti, is optimistic that Tata Motors, with majority of its vehicles powered by a diesel engine, will be well accepted in Bali, especially in Denpasar. “Tata Motors products is renowned to be tough and comes with low ownership cost,” said Ivan. “Tata Motors offers vehicle varieties in almost all segments, and covered with unique Peace of Mind package encompassing best in class warranty, guaranteed spare parts supply and 24×7 on road assistance .”
