FRAUD ON BEHALF OF TATA MOTORS

Jakarta, 27 August 2012, PT. Tata Motors Indonesia, a subsidiary of Tata Motors Limited, India, today announced that it has successfully detected the presence of a number of online frauds on behalf of PT Tata Motors Indonesia. This fraud is generally commited with the purpose of deceiving people to make a pre-order of Tata Nano cars.

Associated with many frauds, Tata Motors Indonesia has confirmed that Tata Motors Indonesia will sell its products officially right after inaugurating its authorized dealers in Indonesia. Tata Motors urges people to be careful and not provoked by the rise of PT Tata Motors Indonesia’s counterfeit website. Tata Motors has not opened the pre-order and sold any kinds of its vehicles in Indonesia yet, including Tata Nano.

Tata Motors Indonesia feels that this action must be taken by Tata Motors Indonesia that has received complaints from the public regarding this matter and hoped that the parties who have deliberately made the website and planned to harm the public and tarnished the good name of Tata Motors Indonesia immediately will stop their action.
