Tata Motors’ First Dealer in Jakarta

Jakarta, 13 September 2013 – Following the successful launch of three flagship products, Tata Vista (small hatchback), Tata Aria (Crossover MPV) and Tata Safari Storme, PT. Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia (TMDI) today inaugurated its first 3S (Sales Service, Spareparts) dealer in Jakarta, PT Jawa Indie Motor (JIM) located in Jl. Kramat Raya No. 17, Central Jakarta.

JIM, which has a total of 31 employees, is located in an area of 4,023 square meters with a 3,469 square meter building, with an ideal room layout comprising of a showcase area, workshop, sparepart storage room, working room and training room. Complete with a comfortable waiting area featuring wifi connectivity, praying room and a discussion room for customers and JIM staff.

Andi Kosala, Director of JIM said that he and the team are fully committed to support the successful service and sales of Tata Motors vehicles in Jakarta.

Meanwhile, the President Director of TMDI Biswadev Sengupta who attended the inauguration said that JIM is one of the important partners that helped in the establishment of Tata Motors in Indonesia. “We are sure that with JIM’s experience in customer service, JIM will satisfy the need of Tata Motors’ customers and contribute to the development of the marketing and customer service of Tata Motors vehicles, both passenger and commercial vehicles.”
