Trust of 50 Government Agencies to Tata Motors

Within 2 years TMDI managed to sell 91 vehicles through LKPP (Government Procurement Policy Agency) and Vehicles Procurement for government agencies.

Jakarta, 2 August 2017 – Tata Motors Distribution Indonesia (TMDI), authorized distributor of Tata Motors in Indonesia supports the government procurement program. TMDI 3S outlets throughout Indonesia have participated in the procurement of vehicles for government agencies through the Government Procurement Policy Agency (LKPP) and is now starting to show positive results.

TMDI has been participated in the vehicles procurement for government agencies through LKPP for two years. Although Tata Motors is a new car company in Indonesia, but Tata Motors has managed to sell 91 commercial vehicles to government agencies through LKPP and procurement within two years.

“Tata Motors has been officially participating in LKPP since 2015 and is beginning to show a very positive developments. Our ninety-nine commercial vehicles have been trusted by more than 50 government agencies across Indonesia to support government projects. Currently, we have registered 44 models of Tata Motors vehicles in LKPP and this will continue to grow,” said Biswadev Sengupta, President Director of TMDI.

Biswadev explained that the sales growth of TMDI to the government agencies during the fiscal year of 2015-2016 to 2016-2017 grew by 194%. Tata Motors commercial vehicle used for ambulances, buses and garbage transport vehicle are the most widely used by government agencies. Because it has the most affordable price, and also the lowest operational and maintenance costs in its class.

Department of Public Works, Environmental Services Agency, Department of Public Health, Cleaning and Landscaping Agency, Department of Transportation, and Department of Education are among the government agencies that have used Tata Motors commercial vehicles throughout Indonesia including Java, Sumatra and Sulawesi. There are 91 units of Tata Motors commercial vehicles with various variants sold to government agencies in Java, Sumatra and Sulawesi.
