Tata Ace EX2 Receives “WOW PRODUCT” Award from MarkPlus Inc.

An award for recognizing the innovation in products and creating customer excitement

Jakarta, 27 September 2014 – Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia (TMDI), fully subsidiary of Tata Motors Ltd, India’s global automotive company and Authorized Agent of Tata Motors in Indonesia, announced that the Tata Ace EX2, 702 cc diesel –Indonesia’s first diesel mini pick up- received the “WOW PRODUCT – Automotive – IIMS 2014” in the Light Commercial Vehicles category from MarkPlus Inc.

WOW PRODUCT – Automotive – IIMS 2014 is an appreciation for automotive products exhibited in the Indonesia International Motor Show 2014, judged by the automotive expert panel of Marketeers Magazine based on the WOW marketing concept application.

Pankaj Jain, Marketing and Distribution Director of TMDI received the award on behalf of Tata Motors Indonesia, and predicted the Tata Ace EX2 can be well accepted in the market and contribute to economic development of semi urban and rural areas.

“The company would like to thank everyone, and will recognize the award as a pillar to strengthen Tata Motors’ commitment to serve customers in Indonesia,” said Pankaj.

The WOW PRODUCT – Automotive – IIMS 2014 awards are presented to products that understand the consumer as complete human beings, fulfilling the consumer’s anxieties and desires, and not just their needs and wants. Thus, the product is deemed capable in creating a strong engagement with the consumer.

Tata Ace EX2 is the latest transportation solution for rural areas, suburbs, and cities much needed in Indonesia, especially for micro, small and medium businesses. Prior to its launch in Indonesia, the Tata Ace EX2 experienced several adjustments by undergoing intensive tests and receiving feedback from consumers in Indonesia.
