TATA MOTORS aims for Customer Satisfaction and After Sales Service as First Priorities

Tangerang, 13 December 2013 – To establish a premium after sales service network in Indonesia, Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia (TMDI) in cooperation with Castrol Indonesia through the Castrol Auto Service (CAS) network, today officially began operations of the first Tata Certified Workshop (TCW) in Tangerang, Banten. TMDI has previously introduced TCWs in Bogor, Bekasi and Jakarta.

TMDI is planning to operate 40 TCWs in cities in Java and Bali by March 2014, to support light maintenance for Tata Motors customers in Indonesia.

“Today, we will begin operations of the first TCW in Tangerang, TCW-Autofit. We estimate by early next year no less than 25 TCWs will be in operation to support our 3S dealer facilities in Java and Bali. With TCW, Tata Motors consumers will have better access to light service and vehicle maintenance,” said President Director of TMDI, Biswadev Sengupta, after inaugurating the first TCW in Banten, Friday (13/12).

TCW is a form of cooperation by TMDI, Castrol Indonesia and CAS owners from all over Indonesia to provide optimum extra service to Tata Motors vehicle owners in Indonesia, serving both Tata Motors passenger cars and commercial vehicles. TCW-AutoFit is located at Jl. Lt. Soetopo, Block V2 No. 38 Sector I-II, North BSD

TCW mechanics have been trained by the Tata Motors team of technicians at Cevest Indonesia training center, to handle vehicle maintenance and light repair services. Biswadev also mentioned that the TCW network is part of the ‘Peace of Mind Tata Motors’ program. The program offers a warranty of 5 years or per 100.000 km, 24 hour on-road assistance, and 1×24 hour spare part guarantee.
