Jakarta, 25 April 2017 – Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia (TMDI), authorized distributor of Tata Motors in Indonesia, has continuously exhibited a high standard of commitment for serving the need for Tata genuine spare parts for Indonesian customers since the beginning of its operation in Indonesia, in 2013.
Despite being a new brand in Indonesia, TMDI has a huge, complete and credible spare parts warehouse at Cibitung (outside Jakarta) managed by well-known global logistics company as a partner–Toll Logistics, which serves and guarantee the supply of Tata spare parts in Indonesia.
In 2016, TMDI launched its signature, Tata DDA. Tata DDA is Tata Dekat dan ADA or “Available near You” program with more than 200 parts shops across Indonesia. In addition to that, in 2016 TMDI also successfully launched TOPS (Tata Online Parts Shop) in Tokopedia. TOPS is an online purchase program for Tata genuine parts managed by TMDI dealerships across Indonesia.
After the successful launch of TOPS, TMDI formalized the partnership with Tokopedia by signing an MoU with PT Tokopedia to improve the online spare parts purchase experience for Tata Motors’ customers in Indonesia.
This MoU will commence the start of TOPS Official Store in Tokopedia.
TOPS Official Store will help the customers to do easy search and directly purchase genuine spare parts for Tata Motors’ vehicles. A range of more than 300 parts that cover all regular spare parts requirement of customers, is available in TOPS Official Store. More parts will be added regularly to this list.
All spare part products available in TOPS Official Store will be 100% genuine and as originally fitted in each Tata Motors’ vehicle (no second grade), and with the same price all over Indonesia. TOPS Official Store will be managed by PT Java Motor, the authorized parts distributor of TMDI.
TMDI has also announced free delivery transportation for all purchases through TOPS Official Store, for a minimum of one year period.
TMDI has jointly worked with Java Motors to ensure delivery of Tata Motors’ genuine parts on the same day with dispatch guarantee for all purchase orders through TOPS Official Store in Tokopedia. TMDI will continue to launch many more special offer and promotion so that customers get even more saving on maintenance cost of Tata vehicles. The customer can enjoy benefit of payment with installment upto 12 months with zero interest for purchases equal to or more that IDR 500,000 from 16 major banks in Indonesia.
TOPS Official Store is part of the overall TATA Dekat and ADA program. The commitment is to ensure the easy availability of Tata genuine spare parts in a convenient manner for its customers.
TOPS Official Store will be a perfect fit in the current digital era. Besides that, for customer who prefer to buy offline, they will easily get the genuine spare parts of Tata Motors by visiting more 200 DDA parts shops in 102 cities across Indonesia.

Chief of staff Tokopedia Melissa Siska Juminto said, “This year, e-commerce especially marketplace will be a new home for the owner of local and international brand—including TMDI—to promote their product to the consumer. Because apart from high traffic, marketplace visitors may have the intention to purchase, different from the visitor of social media, news portal or web search engine.”
