Tata Motors Participates in GIIAS 2016

Jakarta, 28 July 2016 – Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia (TMDI), the authorized agent of Tata Motors in Indonesia, has officially announced its participation in the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2016 on 11-20 August 2016, at ICE BSD, Tangerang. On the 1127 m2 venue, around 18 commercial vehicles from diverse segments and for varied applications will be showcased.

“The GIIAS 2016 will be a proving ground for the Tata Motors brand in Indonesia. The population of Tata Motors vehicles in Indonesia is now over 3,000 units. Hopefully, Tata Motors customers who own a Tata Motors car and customers in general can visit the GIIAS 2016 to meet and interact with us at the Tata Motors pavilion, so that they are more aware of Tata Motors’ performance in Indonesia,” said Biswadev Sengupta, President Director, TMDI.

In this year’s exhibition, TMDI has set the main agenda of launching the Tata Ultra, Ultra is a new modern light truck from Tata Motors global line up which will strengthen Tata Motors in the segment in every country where it will be marketed, such as Indonesia. TMDI will also launch the Tata Xenon XT Dcab 4×4 at the GIIAS 2016.

“Our new products will be the Tata Ultra and Tata Xenon XT Dcab 4×4. At the GIIAS 2015, we have unveiled the products to the media and visitors. In almost a year since the GIIAS 2015, we have prepared the launch, in particular to ensure spare part availability and prepare mechanics at our partner dealers in Indonesia. At the GIIAS 2016, we will officially launch and reveal the prices to the public,” Biswadev said.

Asides the launch, TMDI will make the GIIAS 2016 venue to communicate and educate customers about the Genuine Tata Motors spare parts. “Hopefully, visitors and potential buyers can obtain integrated information on Tata Motors sales and after-sales. TMDI is confident that Genuine Tata Motors spare parts are the most affordable in their class. TMDI is committed to provide availability of Tata genuine parts in more than 200 outlets this year apart for current 3S and 2S outlets accross indonesia,” Biswadev said.
