Medan, 8 April 2015 – After successfully developing a dealer network in Java and opening two dealers in Sumatera, PT. Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia (TMDI), subsidiary of Tata Motors Ltd, today announced its participation in the Medan Automotive Week (POM) 2015.
“POM is the biggest and most comprehensive automotive event in North Sumatera. It is the best platform to introduce the Tata Motors brand to the people of Medan. And as one of the biggest automotive markets in Sumatera, Medan will be home to our 13th 3S (Sales, Service & Spareparts) dealer,” said Biswadev Sengupta, President Director of PT Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia.
POM 2015 will be held from 8 to 12 April in Santika Premiere Dyandra Hotel & Convention, Medan. Tata Motors will be present in booth L covering a total area of 100 m2. Tata Motors will showcase the Tata Vista, Tata Super Ace, and Tata Ace EX2. Tata Motors will also present the premier rural transport vehicles Ace EX2 700cc diesel and the SME pick-up Tata Super Ace 1,400cc diesel.

In the commercial segment we are proud to have the 700cc Tata Ace EX2 diesel mini pick-up, the first of its kind in Indonesia. We believe Tata Super Ace will be a success in the North Sumatera automotive market as well,” said Biswadev.
According to Biswadev, Tata Motors is optimistic with its wide range of vehicle especially Pick up range for Medan and its surrounding areas as these vehicles are introduced looking at the needs of the consumer.
