Jakarta, 23 December 2013 – n an effort to introduce the Tata Super Ace–a mini pick up armed with a 1.400 cc diesel engine, Tata Motors Distribusi Indonesia (TMDI)–fully subsidiary of Tata Motors Limited, the sole-authorized agent of Tata Motors in Indonesia held the TATA GEREBEG PASAR 2013 (TGP 2013). TGP 2013 is part of a series of Tata Super Ace pre-launch programs aimed directly to introduce Tata Super Ace at the heart of Super Ace consumers: trade centers.
“Not limited to traditional markets, Super Ace is the smart choice for wholesalers and Small and Medium Business industry players. We guarantee that the Super Ace is a beneficial business partner,” said Biswadev Sengupta, President Director TMDI.
The series of Tata Super Ace socialization programs began with the public announcement of Tata Super Ace price through mass media. It was followed by a gathering of Angkot (public transport) and Pick up user community in Tangerang in November 2013, which was attended by 37 Angkot owners who represented associations and 20 representatives of market cooperatives members in Jabodetabek.
“Community enthusiasm in Super Ace from Angkot cooperatives in Tangerang equals to the potential number of Angkot rejuvenation in Tangerang, which is about 500 units. We are sure that the Angkot user community in Tangerang can accept Super Ace well. In addition to the benefits of Super Ace, there’s the after sales guarantee from TMDI with its Tata Certified Workshop network,” said Biswadev Sengupta.
The first round of TGP 2013, was held in Solo. Solo was chosen because Solo is the satellite city for farming activities, textile industry and active retail trade, from micro to macro. The characteristic of the people of Solo and its surrounding area, based on TMDI’s research, is that they are more critical in choosing products that efficiently and effectively support businesses.
